“These are unprecedented times we are facing today. The gravity of this situation and the far reaching effects of closing our gaming operations weighs heavily on the minds of the Tribal Council” said Chairman Faron Jackson Sr. “We did not reach this decision lightly, but we have to protect the health of our community and closing these public sites will help to limit the spread of COVID-19. While the outlook for this pandemic remains very serious and critical, we still have a chance to slow and reduce the harmful effects on our people. This decision is part of those efforts.”
