Developing: LLBO Education announces closures beginning Tuesday, March 17

As a proactive measure to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Minnesota, Governor Walz announced today, March 15 that all public and private K–12 schools in the state will be closed beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020. 

Therefore acting in the best interests of our community, the Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig School Board and Administration along with the Leech Lake Tribal Council will be closing the Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig School beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

In addition, all Leech Lake Early Childhood Programs will close beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. This includes LLBO Head Start, LLBO Early Head Start and LLBO Child Care programs.

The closures will last until at least Friday, March 27.  The decision to remain closed or reopen after March 27 will be made at a later date.
