CASS LAKE, MN- The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Election Board has certified the results of the Primary Election held on April 3, 2018.
The following candidates have advanced to the General Election, which will be held on June 12, 2018:
In the contest for Secretary-Treasurer, Arthur “Archie” LaRose (Incumbent) with 843 votes or 47.36% and Donald “Mick” Finn Sr. with 546 votes or 30.67%.
In the contest for District I Representative, Robbie Howe with 184 votes or 41.91% and Rose Robinson with 96 votes or 21.87%.
In the contest for District II Representative, Steve White (Incumbent) and Janice Dahmen, because only two candidates filed for the District II Representative position, both automatically advanced to the General Election and no Primary was held.
