The State of the Band Address will be held Friday January 5, 2018 at the Northern Lights Casino Event Center in Walker, MN. Registration will open at 8:30 AM with the program beginning at 10:00 AM.
Chairman Faron Jackson Sr. will deliver the address which reflects back on major events and issues that have affected the tribe in the past year as well as an introduction to new plans and information for the upcoming year.
Leech Lake Band Member Tiffany Beckman M.D. MPH will also appear as a guest speaker at the event. Attendees will receive a gift bag containing various items provided by the Leech Lake Tribal Council, and be entered to win one of several door prizes. The regular January Quarterly Meeting will take place immediately following lunch. It will also be held in the Event Center. All Band Members are highly encouraged to attend.
